Hello, I'm Carissa! I have been thinking about/wanting to start a blog for probably a year or longer but just never took the time to get started. I just need a place to put my ideas and thoughts about my day, and occasionally vent. I'm not really sure where this blog will lead me, but I am excited to find out!
I am 27 years old and married to my high school sweetheart. We have been married for 6 years and have 2 beautiful children with another on the way. Our daughter, Taylinn, is 3 1/2 and is a little firecracker. She has so much personality and is so independent. She is a little princess and lets me know this daily.
Our son, Ethan, was quite the surprise. He is 2 years old. We found out that I was pregnant with him when our daughter was 8 months old. I was very nervous about having two children so close together, but it has been wonderful. He is the sweetest little boy I have ever met. He is so much like me that it isn't even funny. Him and Taylinn are the best of friends and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Now we are pregnant with our third and final child. It is a boy much to our relief. I do not think that Taylinn could have handled having to share her princess status.
I am a stay at home mom. I worked in childcare for 7 years and loved every minuet of it. I think that children should be exposed to different environments and that they learn best through play. I am attempting to home preschool my children which is proving to be very interesting with me being pregnant and with us moving in 2 weeks.
This is a crazy life that I live, yet so beautiful. I love my littles and my husband more than anything and wouldn't trade this life for anything.
